Morning. Over the hills the sunlight pours Like liquid glass, spilling over the fields. The flowers drink its warmth and blossom With their silky petals reaching for the sky. I open my eyes. Look up, it's raining. Ashes are slowly falling from the sky. The fire isn't here, but I can feel it. Though the embers don't touch me My body still feels singed.

Reading: Literature: An Introduction to Reading and Writing

It's been quite a while, ne?

To be quite honest, I haven't been that creative lately. I'm currently writing on a novel (Razorblade Nightlight; it sounds trippy, no?) but other than that I've been drawing blanks. Now and then I'll get an idea but I almost never actually sit down to write them. I did make a card for a friend of mine (sketching it took forever) but I gave it to him before I could take a picture of it - the cardboard was too big for my poor scanner...lol

So..maybe I'll try and get some stuff written up to be posted here so my poor account doesn't gather cobwebs. Cobwebs are icky.

As for how I've actually been...well, I've been BUSY. I'm a senior in high school right now, which is pretty scary. It feels like just yesterday I was a freshmen. I don't feel that old. Eh. The years just sneak by. It's funny too because everything repeats in cycles.

Oh if only I could talk to Yuq

The stories I could share with her...haha.

And I wonder if you're reading this right now...the blue shells that make the yoshis fly. Yeah, you know who you are
